Images in PNG format: TikTok ByteDance, a Beijing-based Internet technology business formed in 2012 by Zhang Yiming, owns TikTok, a Chinese video-sharing social networking website. It's used to make 3 to 15-second music, lip-sync, dance, comedy, and talent videos, as well as 3 to 60-second looping videos. In September 2016, ByteDance debuted Douyin for the Chinese market for the first time. TikTok was later published in 2017 for iOS and Android in most areas outside of mainland China; however, it was only accessible globally, including the United States, following a merger with Musical.ly on August 2, 2018.
