FAQ On computers, a wallpaper or background (also known as a desktop wallpaper, desktop background, desktop picture, or desktop image) is a digital image (photo, drawing, etc.) used as a decorative background of a graphical user interface on the screen of a computer, mobile communications device, or other electronic device. On a computer, it is often used as the backdrop for the desktop, but on a mobile phone, it is typically used as the wallpaper for the 'home' or 'idle' screen. Though most devices ship with a preset image, users may generally alter it to a custom file of their own.
Go to the beginning. Enter âbackground,â and then choose Background settings from the menu. A Preview picture will appear in the Background settings. There is a drop-down option under Background.
