You may set a custom desktop wallpaper, and you can even use it as your lock screen or Start screen backdrop. Expand one of the categories in the section below and click the links to preview each backdrop to acquire a desktop background (wallpaper). When you locate one you like, right-click on it, choose Store picture as..., and save it somewhere you'll remember. Then, make that picture your background:
