Let us start with something that should not be mistaken with today's policy change: publishing anything damaging to kids, including child pornography, is disgusting and has no place in our community. We have had and will continue to have a zero tolerance policy for this sort of information. To that aim, we are constantly investing in policy enforcement, including industry-standard machine monitoring, a growing number of human moderators, and user tools that make it simple to report abuse. We also work closely with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Internet Watch Foundation, two vital organizations at the forefront of safeguarding our children from abuse, and we report breaches of this policy to law enforcement authorities via these relationships. We will never be able to prevent all bad actors from trying to exploit our platform, but we will do all we can to keep the community as secure as possible. So, what has changed?

Hi! I go by Avendell online and am originally from Germany, but currently work as a part-time freelance Illustrator in the United States. My favorite aspect of art is its power to bring to life events, settings, and people and elicit an emotional reaction from the audience. I now specialize on book illustrations, which enables me to accomplish just that while also merging some of my favorite things. When I'm not painting, I like reading, socializing with friends, going outdoors, and spending time with my family. I mostly work online, but I usually have a tiny notebook and ballpoint pens on hand.
