Tomoya Okazaki Clannad

Clannad Tomoya and his closest buddy Youhei have a habit of being late for class, skipping courses, and messing about in Youhei's dorm room. He lacks drive to pay attention in class, yet he periodically ponders his life and future. On the way to school, Tomoya encountered Nagisa and befriended her. His school days are hectic, and he meets a variety of intriguing people. Tomoya would get to know the characters better and assist them in resolving their challenges.

Whether you remember Clannad as a classic Japanese visual novel or a successful anime series from the 2000s, it might be difficult to understand all that has drew new fans to the series for over two decades.

Clannad began as a graphic novel created by studio Key in 2004. While the game wasn't released in English until 2015, the slice-of-life romance found its way to America in the late 2000s thanks to Kyoto Animation's famous adaptations.

Tomoya Okazaki is a third-year high school student who is unhappy with his life. When he was younger, his mother died in a vehicle accident, prompting his father to turn to drink and smokes. This leads to battles between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is damaged in one of them. Tomoya has had estranged interactions with his father since then, prompting him to become a delinquent over time. On his way to school, he encounters a weird girl called Nagisa Furukawa, who is a year older but is repeating due to sickness. Since a result, she is often alone, as most of her pals have gone on. The two continue hanging together, and as time passes, Tomoya's life begins to change in a new direction. Anime based on a well-known visual novel game. + Additional information
